About the Role We are looking for an experienced Mobile SDET to join our team at Programming.com. This role focuses on building and scaling mobile automation frameworks and test strategies. Key Responsibilities • Own and scale Appium-based mobile automation frameworks (iOS and Android) end to end • Run tests on physical devices and cloud platforms like BrowserStack and Sauce Labs • Design test strategies for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE): pairing, connectivity, data transfer and stability • Define a BYOD testing strategy for broad real-device coverage across OS versions and OEMs • Build REST API automation and integrate it into CI/CD pipelines • Run containerized tests with Docker in AWS environments • Mentor junior engineers and shape automation strategy across teams Requirements • 10+ years in QA engineering and test automation • Strong hands-on Appium experience (iOS and Android) • Hands-on BLE testing and debugging with mobile apps and hardware devices • Experience building and scaling mobile automation frameworks and BYOD strategies • Strong Python (preferred) or JavaScript • API automation (REST/Postman), mobile cloud testing platforms, AWS, Docker and CI/CD • Excellent communication and the ability to work independently in a remote setup Nice to have: Healthcare or other regulated-industry experience
