About the Role The NC Department of Health and Human Services seeks a highly technical Integration Engineer to provide hands-on support for NC FAST applications using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and MuleSoft. Key Responsibilities • Create real-time, on-demand, batch, and scheduled data interfaces between internal and external systems • Design and implement APIs and ETL processes for data cleansing and refreshes • Manage multiple technical, business, and testing efforts • Support go-live and post-implementation activities • Troubleshoot and debug integration issues Requirements • Strong hands-on experience with IBM Integration Bus (IIB)/App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and/or MuleSoft or Boomi • Proficiency in Java and/or Python programming • Experience with enterprise integration patterns, REST/SOAP web services, JMS, MQ, XML, and API development • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized application deployment • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure • Solid understanding of system integration, enterprise architecture principles, technical sizing, scalability, and high availability • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control tools such as Git • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
