About the Role We are looking for a skilled .NET Engineer to join our team in Sydney, Australia. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in .NET application development, secure API implementation, and modern web technologies. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain applications using .NET, C#, and modern web technologies • Build and support RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core Web API • Implement API authentication and security using JWT, OAuth, and CORS • Apply secure coding practices in line with the OWASP Top 10 • Demonstrate strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and entity relationship management • Understand and apply software design patterns • Work with Entity Framework Core (EF Core) or Dapper • Apply Dependency Injection and SOLID principles • Understand the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • Support application development, maintenance, and troubleshooting • Collaborate effectively with team members, share knowledge, and contribute to continuous improvement Requirements • Strong hands-on experience with .NET and C# • Experience developing and supporting ASP.NET Core Web APIs and RESTful services • Knowledge of API security, authentication, and secure coding practices • Understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns, EF Core or Dapper, Dependency Injection, and SOLID principles • Knowledge of application development and support processes • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • A collaborative mindset, willingness to learn, and commitment to continuous improvement
