About the Role We are looking for a highly experienced Network & Micro-Segmentation Security Engineer to support an enterprise-wide Zero Trust security initiative. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Palo Alto firewalls, micro-segmentation platforms, and hybrid cloud networking. Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and optimize Zero Trust micro-segmentation policies across cloud and data center workloads • Configure and maintain Palo Alto firewalls using Panorama • Perform application dependency mapping and create reusable segmentation policies • Monitor segmentation agent health, performance, and capacity • Automate firewall and security policy deployments • Manage change requests, peer reviews, impact assessments, and post-deployment validation • Troubleshoot complex network, routing, and segmentation issues • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for critical network escalations Requirements • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Networking and Network Security • Strong expertise in Palo Alto Firewalls, Panorama, and Security Profiles • 5+ years of experience in Network Architecture/Design with Zero Trust segmentation principles • Hands-on experience with Illumio Core/Cloud or Guardicore (Akamai Segmentation) • Experience in application dependency mapping, micro-segmentation policy creation, and enforcement • Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure networking, hybrid routing, and site-to-site VPNs • Experience with firewall rule-set creation, policy optimization, and traffic analysis
