About the Role We are seeking a Network Planning Schedule Design Optimizer to join our team. This role involves designing and developing mathematical optimization and decision-support models for airline network planning and schedule design. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop mathematical optimization and decision-support models • Build large-scale models for airline network planning and schedule design • Translate complex business requirements into mathematical formulations • Collaborate with business, technical, and Operations Research teams • Develop high-performance optimization applications • Follow software engineering best practices, including version control, packaging, and release management Requirements • 4+ years of experience in Operations Research / Optimization • C++ – Hard Requirement • IBM ILOG CPLEX – Mandatory • Strong mathematical modeling experience, including building optimization models from scratch • 4+ years of applied Operations Research experience • Advanced optimization techniques, including Mixed-Integer and Nonlinear Optimization • Decision analysis, simulation, statistics, and stochastic modeling • Experience developing large-scale optimization applications • Unix / Shell Scripting • Strong understanding of optimization algorithms and mathematical programming • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, or a related field
