About the Role A leading networking technology company is seeking Network Software Engineers to join its growing team. This contract role requires strong L2/L3 protocol skills and Python expertise. Key Responsibilities • Talk with customers to gather and clarify technical requirements • Build and maintain test environments for system and solution validation • Develop and improve test frameworks and benchmarking tools • Define metrics and collect data for network performance benchmarking • Troubleshoot hands-on and find root causes for complex customer issues • Contribute to technical projects and share expertise with the team Requirements • Bachelor's in STEM with 7+ years of experience, or Master's with 4+ years, or PhD with 1+ year • 3+ years of Python automation scripting • 2+ years configuring, testing or debugging networking systems • Experience with PyTest or similar QA automation frameworks • Control and data plane experience: L2/L3 networking, BGP, ECMP and VXLAN-based EVPN fabrics
