About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Nutanix Engineer to join our team for a 6-month contract with potential for hire. This role involves designing, deploying, and configuring Nutanix clusters across two data centers, leading workload migrations, and implementing a robust Disaster Recovery (DR) replication strategy.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, deploy, and configure Nutanix clusters across two data centers
• Lead workload migrations
• Implement a robust Disaster Recovery (DR) replication strategy
• Perform DR failover testing
• Manage data center networking including VLANs, trunking, routing, and Flow
• Handle Commvault backup and technical documentation
• Follow ITIL change management processes
Requirements
• 8+ years of hands-on Nutanix experience
• Expertise in AOS, AHV, Prism Element & Prism Central
• Nutanix Foundation / Foundation Central deployment experience
• Experience with VM migration, Protection Domains & Recovery Plans
• Knowledge of Async / NearSync replication and DR failover testing
• Data center networking skills: VLANs, trunking, routing & Flow
• Experience with Commvault backup, technical documentation & ITIL change management
• MSP or enterprise infrastructure experience preferred
