About the Role We are looking for an experienced OCI Migration Engineer to support an enterprise-wide Java remediation and cloud migration initiative. The role involves migrating Windows/Linux server workloads from on-premises or hosted environments to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Key Responsibilities • Assess and migrate Windows/Linux workloads to OCI • Perform OCI compute, networking, storage, IAM, and security configurations • Use Tanium for server inventory, Java discovery, and configuration analysis • Develop migration plans, runbooks, cutover, and rollback procedures • Coordinate with application, network, security, and infrastructure teams • Perform post-migration testing, troubleshooting, and stabilization Requirements • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) • Experience migrating Windows/Linux servers to OCI • Knowledge of OCI Compute, VCN, Subnets, Storage, IAM, and Networking • Hands-on experience with Tanium for server inventory and software discovery • Strong Windows/Linux infrastructure knowledge • Experience with enterprise cloud or data-center migration projects • Knowledge of DNS, firewall, load balancing, and application dependencies Preferred Skills • OCI Architect certification • Terraform, PowerShell, or Bash scripting • Java/OpenJDK knowledge • VMware and ITIL/change-management experience
