About the Role We are looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Migration Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise Java remediation and cloud migration initiative. Key Responsibilities • Assess and migrate Windows/Linux server workloads to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) • Develop and execute end-to-end cloud migration plans • Perform migration readiness assessments, pre-migration validation, cutover, and post-migration testing • Work on Java remediation initiatives and identify Oracle Java dependencies • Use Tanium for server inventory, software discovery, Java version identification, and reporting • Configure and support OCI Compute, VCNs, Subnets, Routing, Security Lists, and Network Security Groups • Support OCI Storage, IAM, DNS, Backup, Monitoring, and Logging • Prepare migration runbooks, implementation plans, rollback procedures, and validation documentation • Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, DNS, firewall, and application connectivity issues • Collaborate with application owners, Wintel, Linux, Network, Security, Citrix, and Cloud Infrastructure teams Requirements • Hands-on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) experience • On-premises/Hosted Environment to OCI Migration • Windows Server & Linux Administration • OCI Compute, Networking, Storage & IAM • Tanium – Server Inventory & Software Discovery • VCNs, Subnets, Routing, DNS & Firewall Configuration • Enterprise Server & Data Center Migration • Application Dependency Assessment • Migration Planning, Cutover & Rollback Procedures • Infrastructure Troubleshooting & Validation
