About the Role We are looking for an experienced PeopleSoft Developer to support an ongoing federal government initiative with Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), within the Phoenix pay system environment. This is a fully remote contract opportunity within Canada. Key Responsibilities • Develop, enhance, integrate and support Oracle PeopleSoft applications • Customize PeopleSoft applications using PeopleCode, Application Engine and Application Designer • Write SQL queries, troubleshoot and work with relational databases • Develop, modify, test and troubleshoot PeopleSoft application components • Provide strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Requirements • Approximately 3–5 years of professional software development experience • Hands-on Oracle PeopleSoft development experience • Experience developing and customizing PeopleSoft applications using PeopleCode, Application Engine and Application Designer • Strong SQL skills, including writing queries, troubleshooting and working with relational databases • Experience developing, modifying, testing and troubleshooting PeopleSoft application components • Experience with object-oriented programming languages or concepts • Must reside in Canada and be eligible to obtain Government of Canada Reliability Status
