About the Role We are seeking a PeopleSoft ERP Developer specializing in Benefits and Pension Administration to join our team in Austin, TX. This is a contract position with a duration of approximately 6 months, with potential for extensions. Key Responsibilities • Develop, enhance, test, debug, and maintain complex PeopleSoft applications and programs. • Perform detailed data research, analysis, and mapping from PeopleSoft applications to a new system. • Collaborate with ETL developers, business analysts, testers, and end users to define mapping requirements and estimate development efforts. • Develop and maintain PeopleSoft programs using SQR, PeopleCode, and Application Engine. • Design and develop PeopleSoft pages and components. • Develop reports using PeopleSoft XML Publisher. • Integrate PeopleSoft applications with third-party systems using integration tools and web services. • Analyze business requirements, troubleshoot processing issues, and recommend technical solutions. • Prepare technical specifications, design documents, process-flow diagrams, development plans, and implementation procedures. • Estimate development efforts for new systems, enhancements, legislative changes, and software upgrades. • Conduct technical design reviews, demonstrate developed functionality, and document meeting outcomes. • Provide technical guidance to programming personnel and collaborate with agency stakeholders across multiple projects. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Data Processing, or a related field, or equivalent qualifying experience. • 6+ years of experience in PeopleSoft PeopleTools development. • 3+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft Benefits Administration and Pension Administration development experience. • 3+ years of experience with SQL and Oracle databases. • 3+ years of experience with SQR programming and PeopleCode. • 3+ years of experience in detailed data analysis. • 2+ years of experience with PeopleSoft Application Engine programming. • 1+ year of experience with PeopleSoft XML Publisher.
