About the Role We are looking for an experienced Performance Engineer to join our team for a 12+ month contract. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in performance testing tools and methodologies. Key Responsibilities • Design and execute performance test strategies for web, API, and distributed applications • Identify bottlenecks across application, infrastructure, database, and network layers • Build performance dashboards and reports; define and track SLAs, SLOs, and KPIs • Collaborate with development, DevOps, QA, and architecture teams to optimize performance • Support capacity planning and production performance monitoring Requirements • 7+ years in Performance Engineering and Performance Testing • Dynatrace: APM, root cause analysis, and observability • Apache JMeter: Load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing • Performance testing integration into Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps • Google Lighthouse: Web performance, accessibility, SEO, and best-practice audits • Strong understanding of response time, throughput, latency, concurrency, and resource utilization • Experience with REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) • Scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, or Shell
