About the Role
We are looking for a Performance Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Apache JMeter and AWS technologies. This role focuses on performance testing, workload modeling, and analyzing performance metrics to ensure application performance meets defined SLAs.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, parameterize, correlate, and maintain JMeter scripts for web applications, APIs, and integrated systems
• Build realistic workload models using transaction volumes, throughput, concurrent users, pacing, and peak-load patterns
• Execute sustained peak-load endurance testing for at least 12 hours
• Analyze response times and percentiles, throughput, error rates, concurrent users, CPU, memory, database connections, waits/locks, and network/application latency
• Identify performance bottlenecks, perform root-cause analysis, support performance tuning, and conduct retesting
• Validate results against SLAs, performance targets, and acceptance criteria
• Document test scenarios, execution results, performance defects, supporting evidence, and test reports
• Collaborate with development, architecture, DevOps, database, infrastructure, and interface teams to troubleshoot performance issues
Requirements
• Strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter for performance, load, stress, scalability, concurrency, and endurance testing
• Experience with AWS CloudWatch, API Gateway, ECS, and RDS
• SQL Server and database performance analysis skills
• Git, CI/CD pipelines, and performance testing integration into delivery workflows
