About the Role We are seeking a PHP Full Stack Developer to join our team in Menlo Park, CA. This is a contract position with a duration of 12+ months, requiring 13+ years of experience. The role involves optimizing applications for performance, scalability, and reliability. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions. • Develop and maintain automated tests and contribute to continuous integration and deployment processes. • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices. Requirements • Strong professional experience in Full Stack Development. • Proficiency in PHP and Hack. • Strong experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript development. • Proficiency in Python for backend development, automation, or services. • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs. • Strong understanding of frontend development, responsive design, and web application architecture. • Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar relational databases. • Familiarity with Git and modern software development workflows. • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Preferred Qualifications • Experience working with large-scale, highly available web applications. • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. • Experience with Docker and containerized applications. • Knowledge of microservices and distributed systems. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
