About the Role We are seeking a Platform Engineer to join our team in Sydney, Australia. This role involves building and managing internal developer platforms with a focus on cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. Key Responsibilities • Build and manage internal developer platforms with a product mindset • Design and implement solutions using AWS cloud platforms and multi-account architecture • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation • Manage Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and containerized workloads • Develop reusable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins • Implement GitOps workflows such as ArgoCD • Automate processes using Python and Shell scripting • Develop self-service platforms, reusable templates, and automated provisioning • Ensure security, IAM, secrets management, and policy-as-code • Implement monitoring, observability, SLOs, incident management, and platform reliability Requirements • 5–8 years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or DevOps • Strong experience with AWS cloud platforms and multi-account architecture • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), especially Terraform and CloudFormation • Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and containerized workloads • Experience building reusable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins • Hands-on experience with GitOps workflows such as ArgoCD • Strong knowledge of Python and Shell scripting for automation • Experience with self-service platforms, reusable templates, and automated provisioning • Strong understanding of security, IAM, secrets management, and policy-as-code • Experience with monitoring, observability, SLOs, incident management, and platform reliability
