About the Role We are seeking a Playwright Test Automation Subject Matter Expert to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright to ensure quality across the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright. • Assess applications and recommend the optimal test strategy, coverage, and automation approach. • Guide application teams on what should be tested across functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end scenarios. • Identify opportunities to reduce testing effort, improve efficiency, and increase automation coverage. • Establish reusable frameworks, best practices, and coding standards for test automation. • Collaborate with developers, business teams, and QA teams to ensure quality is built into the SDLC. • Analyze manual test suites and recommend automation candidates to maximize ROI. Requirements • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript preferred). • Expertise in Test Strategy, Test Design, Regression Testing, and Test Automation Frameworks. • Excellent stakeholder communication and consulting skills.
