About the Role We are looking for a skilled Power BI / Data Architect to support a major analytics modernization initiative. The client is migrating from an on-premises, SQL-heavy data environment to SAP Data Sphere and SAP Analytics Cloud, while Power BI remains the primary visualization platform. Key Responsibilities • Rebuild SQL-based data pipelines as source systems migrate to SAP Data Sphere, targeting substantial completion by the end of 2026. • Reconnect and rebuild existing Power BI dashboards using the new Data Sphere data sources. • Collaborate with SCE's analytics team on data architecture decisions during the SQL Server-to-Data Sphere transition. • Support SAP Analytics Cloud integration alongside Power BI as the reporting layer evolves. Requirements • 10+ years of experience in data engineering and/or BI development preferred. Strong candidates with less experience may be considered if they demonstrate depth in both areas. • Strong hands-on SQL Server experience — Mandatory. • Azure data services experience — Mandatory. • Power BI development, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard development — Mandatory. • Strong back-end data engineering expertise beyond report and dashboard building.
