About the Role We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to join our team supporting DMV and DOT business units. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards and reports that provide critical insights to various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop • Deploy reports to Power BI Server as directed • Create and manage data sources in Power BI Server • Handle data source certification, refresh/update processes, and data management • Gather technical requirements and prepare solution documents from functional specifications • Create training documentation and support knowledge transfer • Work closely with business data owners and stakeholders • Ensure timely delivery while meeting strict, legislatively mandated deadlines Requirements • 7+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development • Strong expertise in dashboarding, data visualization, and reporting • Experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Server • Strong requirements-gathering and technical documentation skills • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills Preferred • Previous government-sector experience
