About the Role We are looking for an experienced Principal DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in CI/CD automation, embedded software build environments, DevSecOps, and medical device software compliance. The ideal candidate will help modernize and maintain development toolchains for medical device software, ensuring reliable builds, automated quality checks, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities • Architect, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and developer toolchains. • Automate firmware and software builds for embedded and hardware-centric systems. • Integrate static analysis, automated testing, and security scanning into CI/CD workflows. • Ensure development tools and pipeline components meet medical device validation requirements. • Prepare validation plans, technical reports, and documentation to support regulatory audits. • Collaborate with engineering and regulatory teams to improve software quality and traceability. Requirements • Strong expertise in CI/CD automation, embedded software build environments, DevSecOps, and medical device software compliance. • Experience with CI/CD Pipeline Architecture and Management – Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps. • Knowledge of DevSecOps & Security Tools – SonarQube, Black Duck SCA, Artifactory, GitHub Enterprise. • Proficiency in Embedded Build Systems – CMake, Make, Docker, GCC/Clang. • Experience with Static Code Analysis – Coverity, Klocwork, Cppcheck. • Strong automation and scripting skills – Python, Bash, PowerShell. • Understanding of Medical Device Regulatory Standards – ISO 13485, IEC 62304, FDA 21 CFR Part 11. • Experience with Software Tool Validation, Technical Documentation & Audit Readiness.
