About the Role We are seeking a Principal Engineer for a 6+ month contract-to-hire role in Miami, FL. This is a high-level technical position focused on AI tooling, ecommerce, and mobile/app development. Key Responsibilities • Lead technical architecture and drive change across teams • Influence stakeholders and introduce new technologies • Develop B2C solutions and act as an AI Champion for all tech teams • Work with front end and backend technologies, including AEM Requirements • 10+ years of software engineering experience in both frontend and backend disciplines • Proven track record as a technical leader and senior individual contributor • Expert-level knowledge of modern frontend technologies: React, Next.js, micro frontend architecture, SPAs, and component-driven design • Deep experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) including headful/headless integration patterns • Hands-on experience designing and implementing production-grade agentic AI solutions • Strong backend proficiency: Node.js, Fastify, GraphQL, and Java services • Solid understanding of caching strategies (Redis), database design (MongoDB), and API performance patterns • Experience with cloud-native infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions • Strong grasp of DevSecOps practices and compliance requirements (SOX) • Exceptional ability to communicate technical vision to both engineering and non-engineering audiences • Strong experience with frontend performance optimization
