About the Role We are seeking a Principal .NET Engineer to join our team at Green Dot. This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring strong architecture, engineering, mentoring, and BaaS platform experience. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices • Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers • Collaborate with product team on technical requirements • Implement Azure and AWS cloud-native solutions • Ensure PCI DSS and SOC 2 compliance Requirements • 10+ years of experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET & SQL Server • Strong understanding of Azure and AWS cloud platforms • Experience with event-driven architecture and service bus • Knowledge of containerization and caching technologies • Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog and Grafana • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and TeamCity • Understanding of financial services security standards
