About the Role We are seeking an experienced Programmer Analyst with expertise in healthcare data integration and ETL development to join the Texas Department of State Health Services. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain data integration and automation workflows • Build ETL pipelines and automated reporting solutions • Create dashboards and technical documentation • Translate business requirements into technical solutions • Validate, test, and troubleshoot data Requirements • 10+ years of experience in Python, SAS, R, or similar programming languages • Strong experience with healthcare, public health, or complex administrative datasets • Strong SQL and relational database skills • Experience with ETL development and data integration Preferred Skills • HL7, FHIR, XML, SNOMED CT • EHR, eCR/eICR, and Health Information Exchange (HIE) • Public health surveillance systems and healthcare registries • Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Airflow
