About the Role We are hiring an experienced Project Manager for a long-term New York State government project. This role requires extensive experience in managing complex IT projects and working with government clients. Key Responsibilities • Develop project scopes, business cases, and project plans • Manage project status reporting and executive stakeholder communication • Lead complex, cross-functional IT projects involving application development and vendor implementations • Manage teams of 15+ members, resolve conflicts, and negotiate priorities • Ensure project documentation is complete and accurate Requirements • 12+ years of experience in project management • 84 months of experience in project scopes, business cases, project plans, and project management methodologies • 84 months in project status reporting, executive stakeholder communication, meeting agendas, minutes, and project documentation • 84 months managing complex, cross-functional IT projects involving application development, vendor implementations, or infrastructure • 60 months of state/federal government project management experience • 60 months managing teams of 15+ members, resolving conflicts, and negotiating priorities
