About the Role We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer with strong production-level Python development experience. This role focuses on building scalable, reliable, and high-performance applications. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems • Develop and maintain scalable, high-volume production applications and backend services • Optimize database queries and handle data efficiently • Perform application performance tuning, debugging, and production support • Implement observability, logging, monitoring, security, and CI/CD practices Requirements • Strong hands-on experience in Python development and core programming concepts • Experience building and maintaining scalable, high-volume production applications • Solid knowledge of Python, OOP, data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems • Strong experience with databases, query optimization, and data handling • Good understanding of observability, logging, monitoring, security, and CI/CD practices • Ability to independently write, test, debug, and explain Python code • Strong engineering judgment with the ability to evaluate technical approaches and make practical design decisions Nice to Have • Exposure to AI/ML, GenAI, or LLM-based applications • Experience integrating AI capabilities into existing Python applications
