About the Role We are looking for a Python Full Stack Developer to join our team at Mizuho. This role focuses on building production-grade applications and backend services for the financial services industry. Key Responsibilities • Develop production-grade applications and backend services using Python • Build web UI components and backend integrations • Implement frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Streamlit, and Quart • Work with APIs and integration technologies like REST, GraphQL, and external data sources • Utilize databases and data processing tools including SQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and Pandas • Conduct testing using Pytest, unit testing, and integration testing • Use tools like Git, CI/CD, and Linux for development and production support Requirements • 3+ years of professional development experience • Strong, recent hands-on Python coding experience • Experience building web UI components and backend integrations • Strong troubleshooting and production support skills • Experience with financial services and capital markets is preferred • Knowledge of equity derivatives, QIS, and market data is a plus • Familiarity with Bloomberg, Murex, Kafka, and QuestDB is preferred • Experience with GitLab CI/CD, monitoring, and observability tools is a plus
