About the Role We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our team at AigenTek. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation testing frameworks for complex applications. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation testing frameworks • Perform automation and functional testing for complex applications • Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress • Use Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript for automation development • Perform API testing using Postman and REST Assured • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines • Use Git for version control and collaborative development • Support cloud-based testing activities • Validate complex, configurable, and rules-driven application workflows • Identify, document, and track defects to ensure product quality • Mentor team members and provide technical guidance where required • Improve automation coverage, test efficiency, and framework maintainability Requirements • 6–10 years of relevant experience in QA automation, programming, API testing, and automation frameworks • Strong understanding of automation testing principles and practices • Experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress • Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript • Knowledge of API testing using Postman and REST Assured • Experience with CI/CD integration and Git • Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments
