About the Role We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining automated tests using Playwright and Python. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright for UI and API testing • Write Python scripts for test automation • Work with SQL for complex data testing and validation • Implement and maintain ETL processes and data testing methodologies • Test REST APIs and JSON data using Postman and Playwright • Participate in CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git • Apply QA best practices and design patterns Requirements • 8+ years of experience in QA automation • Strong experience in Playwright automation (UI & API testing) • Proficiency in Python scripting • Hands-on experience with SQL (complex joins, aggregations, validation queries) • Solid understanding of ETL processes and data testing methodologies • Experience with API testing (REST, JSON, Postman/Playwright) • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git) • Strong knowledge of test frameworks, design patterns, and QA best practices • Engineering Degree (BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc) Preferred Skills • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) • Exposure to data platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, or Synapse • Knowledge of performance testing tools • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Good communication and stakeholder management • Ability to work in a fast-paced, delivery-driven environment
