About the Role We are looking for a Seasonal Automation QA Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on building scalable test frameworks and ensuring end-to-end quality through automation. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright (JavaScript/Python) • Build scalable automated test scripts for UI, API, and end-to-end testing • Perform ETL/data validation testing to ensure data accuracy across source and target systems • Write complex SQL queries for data verification and backend validation • Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and product teams to ensure quality throughout SDLC • Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub/Jenkins) • Drive test strategy, test planning, and defect management • Ensure coverage for functional, regression, and performance scenarios • Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices Requirements • Strong experience in Playwright automation (UI & API testing) • Proficiency in Python scripting (preferred) or JavaScript/TypeScript • Hands-on experience with SQL (complex joins, aggregations, validation queries) • Solid understanding of ETL processes and data testing methodologies • Experience with API testing (REST, JSON, Postman/Playwright) • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git) • Strong knowledge of test frameworks, design patterns, and QA best practices Preferred Skills • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) • Exposure to data platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, or Synapse • Knowledge of performance testing tools • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Good communication and stakeholder management • Ability to work in a fast-paced, delivery-driven environment
