About the Role We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining automation frameworks, validating data, and ensuring quality across the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright for UI and API testing • Write Python scripts for automation and data validation • Perform ETL testing and data validation using SQL • Conduct API testing using REST, JSON, Postman, or Playwright • Integrate CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, or Jenkins • Implement test strategies, regression testing, and defect management • Work with Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies Requirements • 8+ years of experience in QA automation • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright automation • Proficiency in Python scripting • Strong SQL skills, including complex joins, aggregations, and data validation queries • Experience in ETL Testing and Data Validation • API Testing using REST, JSON, Postman, or Playwright • Knowledge of automation frameworks, test strategies, regression testing, and defect management • Experience with Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies • Engineering or Science degree (BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc) Ideal Candidate A seasoned QA professional with strong automation framework development experience, backend data validation expertise, and the ability to drive quality across the SDLC.
