About the Role We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our growing team. This role focuses on ensuring software quality through automated testing processes. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java • Take end-to-end ownership of testing activities, ensuring software quality throughout the testing lifecycle • Perform API testing to validate functionality, reliability, and system integrations • Conduct SQL or COBOL testing to validate data accuracy and system functionality • Manage test cases, test execution, defect tracking, and defect resolution • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to identify, report, and resolve issues • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes • Ensure test coverage and quality standards are met before application releases Requirements • 5 years of experience in QA, 3+ years of experience in Selenium with Java • Proven experience in end-to-end testing ownership • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in API testing • Experience in SQL or COBOL testing • Proficiency in test management and defect management • Understanding of Agile and Scrum development methodologies • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
