About the Role We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our team in the banking and financial services domain. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure software quality. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java and/or Python • Develop and execute end-to-end automated test cases for web applications, APIs, and backend systems • Integrate test automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools and GitHub • Create and maintain BDD scenarios using Cucumber and Gherkin • Perform API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to improve test coverage and software quality • Identify, troubleshoot, document, and track defects • Contribute to automation framework development and continuous QA process improvements Requirements • Strong hands-on experience in Selenium automation testing • Good programming knowledge of Java and/or Python • Experience with Cucumber and BDD methodologies • Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and GitHub • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect management • Banking or financial services domain experience
