About the Role We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role involves developing and maintaining automated API testing frameworks using Java and the Karate framework. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain automated API testing frameworks using Java and Karate • Design and execute API test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing • Validate API responses, status codes, payloads, and error handling • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and business teams to resolve defects • Analyze test results and prepare test execution reports • Support continuous testing and improve automation coverage Requirements • 7-9 years of relevant QA automation experience • Strong experience with Java programming • Hands-on experience with Karate framework for API test automation • Expertise in API testing, automation framework development, and test execution • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts • Ability to validate REST APIs, troubleshoot failures, and identify defects • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines is preferred • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Must be local to the Phoenix, Arizona area and comfortable working onsite 3 days per week
