About the Role Purely Works is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join their team and take ownership of quality for an innovative fintech platform featuring AI-powered capabilities and financial data integrations. Key Responsibilities • Design and own comprehensive test strategies • Build and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright, TypeScript, and Vitest • Perform API, integration, regression, security, and performance testing • Validate financial calculations, data imports, and access controls • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions • Test AI-powered features and financial data integrations • Collaborate with the development team and present quality insights to clients Requirements • 5+ years of professional QA experience with a strong automation focus • Strong TypeScript and Playwright experience (Cypress is also acceptable) • Experience with API testing, SQL, and PostgreSQL • Knowledge of performance testing tools such as k6 • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines • Excellent English communication and client-facing skills • Practical experience using AI tools to improve testing productivity Benefits • Work remotely with a collaborative team • Contribute to an innovative fintech platform with AI features • Take ownership of quality from the first commit to release
