About the Role We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong Playwright expertise to design, develop, and maintain reliable automated testing solutions for modern web applications. The ideal candidate will strengthen release quality through scalable UI and end-to-end automation, effective API testing, and CI/CD integration while collaborating closely with development, QA, and product teams. Key Responsibilities • Design and maintain scalable Playwright-based automation frameworks for UI, end-to-end, and regression testing. • Develop automated test cases for functional workflows and critical business scenarios across supported browsers. • Collaborate with developers, product stakeholders, and QA teams to translate acceptance criteria into automated test coverage. • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and rapid feedback. • Investigate test failures and distinguish product defects from environment issues and flaky tests. Requirements • 9+ years of professional experience in QA, software testing, or quality engineering. • Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining Playwright automation frameworks. • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or another Playwright-supported language used for test automation. • Experience with UI automation, end-to-end testing, and regression testing. • Strong understanding of test design, assertions, synchronization, and reliable locator strategies. • Experience with API testing and integration of API checks into test workflows.
