About the Role We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This role focuses on ensuring high-quality deliverables through manual and automation testing. Key Responsibilities • Lead onsite QA activities and coordinate offshore QA teams • Design and execute manual, automation, functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests • Perform backend validation using SQL, databases, application logs, and APIs • Develop and maintain API test cases and collections using Postman • Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and communicate findings to developers and stakeholders • Manage test artifacts, defects, and reporting using JIRA and OpenText ALM Octane • Prepare test metrics, status reports, and stakeholder presentations using Excel and PowerPoint • Mentor offshore QA resources and improve testing processes and automation coverage Requirements • 6+ years of QA experience in manual and automation testing • Experience leading or coordinating offshore QA teams • 4+ years of backend testing, SQL, database validation, and troubleshooting • 4+ years of Postman and API testing experience • Strong defect management and root cause analysis skills • Experience with JIRA, OpenText ALM Octane, Excel, and PowerPoint • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
