About the Role We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to join our team in NYC. This role involves leading QA activities for business-critical and regulatory projects. Key Responsibilities • Lead QA activities for business-critical and regulatory projects • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts • Perform functional, system, and regression testing • Review business requirements and identify gaps or potential testing issues • Work with business analysts, developers, and project teams to resolve defects • Track and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle using Jira • Conduct risk analysis, root cause analysis, and support issue remediation • Collaborate with technology, business, and operations teams to ensure quality and compliance • Prepare test documentation, reports, and dashboards for management • Lead QA team members, manage resources, and support test planning and execution • Ensure proper documentation of test results, risks, and quality metrics Requirements • Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, DB2, and SQL Server • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, .NET, COBOL, or VB.NET • Experience with messaging software and financial systems is a plus • Strong experience in functional, system, and regression testing • Hands-on experience with Jira and defect management • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills • Experience working on business-critical and regulatory projects
