About the Role We are looking for a QA Tester to join the State of Iowa – Department of Education. This role focuses on ensuring software quality and accessibility compliance for government applications. Key Responsibilities • Develop test plans, test cases, and test documentation • Perform functional, regression, UAT, usability, and accessibility testing • Track and triage defects in government applications • Validate database integrity using SQL queries • Test APIs and web services for functionality Requirements • 5+ years of QA and software testing experience • Strong manual testing and test automation skills • Expertise in SQL queries and database validation • Experience with API testing and web service validation • Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA and Section 508 accessibility standards • Mandatory certification: CPACC, WAS, or equivalent Benefits
