About the Role We are looking for an experienced QA Tester to support the State of Iowa Department of Education. Key Responsibilities • Perform manual testing including functional, regression, UAT, and usability testing • Conduct accessibility testing and ensure compliance with WCAG 2.2 AA and Section 508 standards • Validate databases using SQL • Test APIs and web services • Develop test plans and test cases • Automate testing scripts • Track defects and manage the SDLC • Work in an Agile development environment Requirements • Strong manual testing experience • Accessibility certification (CPACC, WAS, or equivalent) • In-depth knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA and Section 508 standards • Strong SQL and database validation skills • Hands-on API and web service testing • Test planning, test case development, and automation scripting • Defect tracking and SDLC experience • Agile development experience • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
