About the Role We are looking for an experienced QA Tester with strong manual testing and accessibility compliance experience for a contract position. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement RESTful APIs • Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers • Collaborate with product team on technical requirements Requirements • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing • Accessibility certification (CPACC, WAS, or equivalent) is mandatory • Thorough understanding of accessibility principles and WCAG 2.2 AA standards • Strong experience with manual testing methodologies and best practices • 5 years of experience creating and maintaining automated test scripts • 5 years of experience with SQL queries and database validation • 5 years of experience in API testing and web service validation • 5 years of experience developing test plans, test cases, and test documentation from business requirements • 5 years of experience analyzing requirements and developing testing strategies • 5 years of experience with defect tracking and management throughout the SDLC • 5 years of experience with Section 508 accessibility standards • 5 years of experience testing government applications for accessibility compliance • 5 years of experience with accessibility testing tools and methodologies • 5 years of experience validating WCAG and Section 508 compliance requirements • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills • Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, developers, project managers, and IT teams • 5 years of experience working in Agile or similar development environments
