About the Role We are looking for a hands-on Quality Assurance Specialist to join the Ontario Public Sector team. This role involves planning and executing testing for large enterprise systems, working with various stakeholders to ensure functional, non-functional, accessibility, and performance testing. Key Responsibilities • Advise on testing strategy, test plans, tool selection, and testing resources • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for GUI and non-GUI systems • Run functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing • Build and maintain automated test scripts and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines • Conduct performance, stress, and load testing and analyze bottlenecks • Test for AODA accessibility compliance • Validate data integrity across systems and databases, including migration testing • Log and track defects and work with developers to resolve them • Take part in Agile ceremonies and maintain test results, coverage, and quality metrics Requirements • 4+ years of software testing in enterprise-level IT environments • Hands-on experience with manual testing and automated testing tools and frameworks • Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall testing methodologies • Extensive experience with AODA testing and compliance • Experience creating and maintaining test strategies, test cases, scripts, and test reports • Test automation with Selenium or Postman (API testing) • Performance testing with JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar • Defect tracking with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar
