About the Role We are looking for an experienced Firmware Developer with strong expertise in C++, Embedded Linux, RTOS, and RDK-based broadband, video, and IoT devices. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement firmware for RDK-based devices • Develop, integrate, test, and maintain firmware for broadband, video, and IoT platforms • Work with embedded Linux systems and various RTOS • Perform board bring-up and BSP customization • Implement secure boot and OTA updates • Profile performance and analyze memory usage • Manage power and low-power embedded systems Requirements • 8–10 years of experience in firmware development • BE/B.Tech or Master's in Engineering • Strong expertise in C++ (11/14/17) • Experience with Embedded Linux – Yocto / Buildroot • Knowledge of RTOS – FreeRTOS, ThreadX, Zephyr • Familiarity with communication protocols – I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, USB, TCP/IP • Experience with RDK-based devices – Set-Top Boxes, Gateways, and Routers • Experience with firmware development, integration, testing, and debugging • Board Bring-up and BSP Customization • Bootloaders (U-Boot), Secure Boot, and OTA Updates • Device Tree and Embedded Linux System Development • Yocto, CMake, and Docker-Based Toolchains • Performance Profiling and Memory Analysis • Power Management and Low-Power Embedded Systems
