About the Role We are looking for a skilled SAP CAP Developer with strong expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This role focuses on building scalable cloud applications and developing APIs. Key Responsibilities • Build scalable cloud applications using SAP CAP and Node.js • Develop APIs and implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines • Write and maintain tests using frameworks such as Jest or Vitest • Follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices • Manage packages, versioning, and scripts in Node.js projects • Set up and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions • Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot Requirements • 7-15 years of experience in SAP CAP and Node.js development • Strong hands-on experience in backend application development with Node.js and Express • Good understanding of modern JavaScript and TypeScript development • Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform and related services • Knowledge of unit and integration testing frameworks like Jest or Vitest • Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) • Strong understanding of Node.js fundamentals, including the event loop, asynchronous execution, batch processing, and database transactions • Experience with NPM ecosystem and dependency management • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions • Understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP), skill design, and context engineering
