About the Role We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Release Engineer to manage end-to-end SAP Finance releases across various environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO), transport management, and enterprise deployment processes. Key Responsibilities • Plan, schedule, coordinate, and execute SAP S/4HANA Finance releases across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments. • Manage SAP transports and ensure proper sequencing and migration. • Coordinate with various SAP teams including Finance, Functional, Basis, Security, Development, Middleware, Integration, and Infrastructure. • Validate release readiness, deployment plans, rollback procedures, and cutover activities. • Manage Change Advisory Board (CAB) reviews, release governance meetings, and stakeholder communications. • Coordinate UAT execution, defect triage, production deployment approvals, and post-release support. • Identify release risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize business disruption. • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities during release windows. • Ensure compliance with ITIL change management and financial system security requirements. Requirements • 8+ years of SAP experience, including at least 3 years in Release Management or Deployment Management. • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance and financial accounting processes. • Strong expertise in SAP transport migration and release cycles in large enterprise environments. • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and production support activities. • Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and risk mitigation skills. • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities. Good to Have • SAP S/4HANA Finance certification. • Experience with SAP Solution Manager and ChaRM.
