About the Role We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Upgrade Lead to drive an upcoming SAP S/4HANA release upgrade from 2022 to 2024 at LiquidPower Specialty Products Inc. Key Responsibilities • Lead SAP S/4HANA release upgrade activities from assessment through production deployment and hypercare • Analyze SAP Readiness Check results, Simplification Item Checks, and relevant SAP documentation • Assess impacts on business transactions, applications, reports, custom code, interfaces, and authorizations • Review system usage data using UPL, SCMON, and ST03N to identify impacted business processes • Work closely with Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain, business process owners, and end users • Coordinate remediation activities across custom code, security/authorizations, interfaces, and Fiori applications • Support GUI-to-Fiori transition assessments and identify required Fiori app changes • Develop upgrade plans, testing strategies, training plans, timelines, and cutover activities • Coordinate with SAP technical teams and AMS partners throughout the upgrade lifecycle • Track project progress, dependencies, risks, and issues, providing regular stakeholder updates Requirements • Proven, recent hands-on experience leading an SAP S/4HANA release upgrade • Direct experience with SAP Readiness Check and Simplification Item analysis • Strong functional knowledge of SAP Finance and/or Logistics/Supply Chain • Experience with SAP Fiori applications and GUI-to-Fiori transition • Working knowledge of SUM, SAP Maintenance Planner, ATC custom code checks, and SU25 authorization adjustments • Experience analyzing SAP system usage data through UPL, SCMON, and ST03N • Strong stakeholder communication, coordination, and project management skills • Ability to independently analyze SAP documentation and drive upgrade activities
