About the Role We are seeking an experienced SAP Vertex Project Manager to lead and manage implementation, integration, migration, and enhancement projects. This role requires strong coordination skills across multiple teams and systems. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage SAP Vertex implementation, integration, migration, and enhancement projects • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, resource allocations, budgets, and deliverables • Coordinate with SAP FI/CO, SD, MM, ABAP, integration, tax, finance, and business teams • Manage integration activities between SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and Vertex O Series • Work closely with tax and finance stakeholders to understand business requirements related to sales tax, use tax, VAT, and indirect tax compliance • Coordinate Vertex tax determination, configuration, integration, and testing activities • Facilitate requirements-gathering workshops, project meetings, status reviews, and stakeholder discussions • Track project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and develop mitigation plans • Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and issue resolution • Manage cutover planning, go-live readiness, deployment, and post-go-live support • Ensure proper documentation of business requirements, functional specifications, project plans, and testing activities • Prepare and present project status reports, executive dashboards, and risk and issue logs • Manage change requests, project scope, and stakeholder expectations • Ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within budget
