About the Role Allegiant Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced Security Automation Engineer for a remote position. This role requires a strong background in security automation, compliance testing, DevSecOps, and cloud security. Key Responsibilities • Implement security automation solutions and compliance testing frameworks • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated security testing • Configure and maintain security assessment tools like Nessus and Tenable • Ensure compliance with DISA STIGs, SCAP, and DoD cybersecurity requirements • Monitor and analyze security vulnerabilities and threats • Collaborate with technical and cybersecurity teams on security initiatives Requirements • U.S. citizenship required • Active Secret clearance (Interim Secret accepted) • Minimum 4 years of experience in security automation, compliance testing, or DevSecOps • Experience with DISA STIGs, SCAP, vulnerability scanning, and continuous security monitoring • Hands-on experience with Nessus, Tenable, or similar security assessment tools • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated security testing • Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash • Knowledge of cloud security and compliance requirements • Ability to meet applicable DoD cybersecurity certification requirements
