About the Role Isoft-services is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to help build the next generation of AI-powered commerce experiences through modern APIs, AI agents, large language models, and emerging agent interoperability standards. This team is responsible for developing the foundational platforms and services that enable agentic commerce. Key Responsibilities • Build AI-powered commerce experiences through modern APIs and AI agents • Develop foundational platforms and services for agentic commerce • Integrate with AI ecosystems, Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, and partner platforms • Design and implement RESTful APIs following API-first development practices • Implement OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and Zero Trust security principles • Deploy applications in cloud-native environments using Azure and/or GCP • Work with Kubernetes-based environments • Leverage AI-assisted development tools Requirements • 5+ years of software engineering experience building APIs and distributed systems • Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs • Hands-on experience with Golang and Python • Strong understanding of OpenAPI specifications and API-first development practices • Experience implementing OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and Zero Trust security principles • Experience building microservices in cloud-native environments • Experience deploying applications in Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) • Experience working with Kubernetes-based environments • Strong understanding of software architecture, integration patterns, and API lifecycle management • Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
