About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to design, develop, and own scalable backend services for enterprise-grade AI and data platforms operating in cloud, on-premises, and air-gapped environments. Key Responsibilities • Design and deliver backend services end-to-end, including APIs, data models, deployment, and observability. • Ensure production reliability through monitoring, incident response, and on-call support. • Lead technical design reviews and mentor junior engineers. • Build reliable services across SaaS, on-premises, and disconnected environments. • Collaborate with product, engineering, and security teams. • Leverage LLMs and modern AI tools to accelerate development and enhance product capabilities. Requirements • 5–8 years of backend engineering experience with proven service ownership. • Strong proficiency in Python (preferred), Go, or Java, including asynchronous programming. • Strong system design knowledge, including caching, queues, retries, idempotency, and observability. • Hands-on experience with production support, incident management, and on-call rotations. • Experience with SaaS and on-premises deployments. • Strong understanding of distributed systems and backend architecture.
