About the Role Galaxy i Tech is seeking an experienced Senior C/C++ Developer to join their team in O’Fallon, MO. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex software applications using C/C++ and Linux environments. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications using C and C++ • Develop and test high-quality software for Linux/Unix environments • Write unit tests using Google Test (GTest) • Create technical designs, define system interfaces, and guide implementation strategies • Lead code reviews, design reviews, and engineering best practices • Collaborate with Product Management and technical leads on requirements, features, and test strategies • Improve development processes and automation, including CI/CD practices • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical presentations • Support reliable deployment and production-quality software delivery Requirements • Strong hands-on experience with C/C++ programming • Solid knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and commands • Experience with Google Test (GTest) and unit testing • Strong understanding of software design, debugging, and troubleshooting • Experience with Agile development methodologies • Familiarity with CI/CD automation and code quality practices
