About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong AWS, Python, and Terraform expertise to join our team. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop scalable data pipelines and REST APIs • Provision, scale, and optimize AWS infrastructure using Terraform • Develop production-ready technical designs and solutions • Collaborate directly with clients and external stakeholders • Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews • Lead daily stand-ups and maintain engineering best practices Requirements • 13–15 years of experience (mandatory) • Advanced Python programming and software design patterns • AWS services: S3, EC2, Lambda, RDS • Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) • RESTful API development • Data engineering pipelines and distributed computing • SQL and NoSQL databases • Database schema design and query optimization • Scalable, high-throughput data processing systems • Low-Level Design (LLD) and performance optimization Preference: Local candidates to Connecticut (CT) only.
